The Way I Work

My approach, passion, infectious enthusiasm and how it translates onto your pictures is what separates me and my work from others.

I will inject a little fun into the day, help you relax, blend into the background when needed, capture moments you hadn’t realised had happened, flirt with your mum, get on well with your guests & deliver a set of images that you’ll love.

Couples that book are generally relaxed, place importance on their wedding photographs and  recognise subtleties that help defines my work.

Your Vision

Whilst my experience can be used to help with certain things, I love to hear and work with your own plans and ideas.

Each wedding is different, the dynamics and interactions with couples, families and friends never the same.  I see my responsibility as being able to produce a bespoke body of work to reflect you and your day.

Coverage

coverage_lipstick

I tell the story of your whole day.  I don’t clock watch or limit my full day coverage to a set number of hours.

I’ll happily put bespoke packages together for small weddings where you may not need me all day but my overwhelming preference is to snap away all day.

Be You

I tend to book clients that aren’t afraid to put their own stamp on their big day.

Rules are made to be broken.

I’m flexible. I’ll adapt the way I work around you, your likes and dislikes.

Your images

Your images are yours to hold on to at full resolution. Delivered on bespoke luxury packaged USB drives,  the images are complimented with a separate slideshow.

A ‘print license’ is provided so getting pictures printed with your preferred suppliers is super easy.

Group Shots

I tend to typically shoot 8 to 10 group shots that will take anything from 15 to 30mins from your day.

All the more time for me to get back to what I do best; bobbing and weaving in between your guests to capture everyone enjoying themselves!

My Style

Beautiful natural portraits, capturing real emotion and being able to encapsulate the story of your day through imagery is the pot of gold I chase at the end of the rainbow.

To me, good wedding photography is often about being in the right place at the right time.  That’s where having an experienced professional can make the difference; how a ‘Father of the Bride’ will react when seeing his daughter for the first time in her wedding dress, getting a great angle of a little flower girl walking up the aisle, anticipating a punchline coming in a humorous speech or being able to squeeze the very best portraits using golden evening light.

I’m equally drawn to catch little moments others may not have even noticed like a bride and groom quietly holding hands under the table during speeches as I am being crouched in a field of waist high grass with an epic sunset crashing through clouds.  I’ll make plenty of notes when meeting couples having a final run through timings in the lead up to the wedding day and adapt how I’m working.  I’m shooting for you!
